Sign the petition to make ACCS a division of NCA!

​Dear ACCS friends and colleagues,
 
After many years of planning, thanks to the hard work by members of this year's ACCS Division Application Committee, including Drs. Joyce Chen, Patrick Dodge, Chiaoning Su, and Lin (Julie) Zhu (names following the alphabetic order), we are finally ready to move forward and submit a compelling division proposal by the August deadline. As an important part of the proposal, we need to collect signatures from at least 200 NCA members. Julie has graciously created an iPetition for us to collect online signatures. 

Please take a minute or two to sign your name and provide your email address (which will be used by the NCA Legislative Assembly to verify your NCA membership).

​At this point, we only have about 100 active ACCS members. To make this important initiative happen, we need EVERYONE’s support. If each of us can ask a couple of friends or colleagues who are NCA members to sign, we can make it!! Having a division status will not only help to better integrate the study of Chinese communication into NCA and provide more slots for conference presentations, but it will also allow us to provide resources and support for division members (e.g., awards, reception, etc.) without soliciting membership dues. Your enthusiastic support will be greatly needed and appreciated.
